My name is Brittney, you can call me Britt for short. Also known as A Very Tired Aunt on my other socials. I am a self-taught writer and artist.

Growing up was difficult for me. Art and writing was my escape. You will see this the more of this over time.

I always looked down on myself for my lack of talent but now, I'm trying harder than ever to find something that makes me happy, a hobby that I can feel more confident doing.

As you have seen, I haven't posted new art in a while. This is because I finally took a step forward and applied to college. Yes I was accepted in! I've been in college for a bit now (my current classes are PSYC and PHIL). I do plan on working on my art again when summer rolls around, this is because I want to show you guys the progress I have made. For now, I need to focus on my studies and deal with life as it happens.

Anatomy reference books?

Does anyone know any good reference books for human anatomy for artists? I've been wanting to take time to study it. Something that shows clear instructions of how to draw various parts of the body in different positions (not the weird poses that most have, just why?) I have two coming in the mail but I'm really unsure of them because I've never found one that has the best references :/ The one below is one I have my eyes on to get but I dont know. The Human Figure : An Anatomy for Artists by David K. Rubins Hopefully it is one that is below $15 because funds are limited. Thanks guys! P.s I normally use thrift books or amazon to get them.
